Twirlo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

The short version

Twirlo has no accounts and no sign-up. The wheels you build are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. The personal data we handle is limited to what any website's infrastructure sees (like IP addresses in server logs) and, once advertising is enabled, what our advertising partner collects to show ads — both explained below.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email address, or any account details. There is no registration, and we never see or store the content of your wheels on a server. Everything the wheel needs runs in your browser.

Data stored on your device

Your wheel entries, settings (like elimination mode), classroom pick history, and sound preference are saved in your browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. This data never leaves your device unless you create a share link. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Share links and embeds

When you press Share or Embed, your wheel's entries are encoded directly into the link itself — that's how shared wheels work without us storing anything. Anyone who has the link can see those entries, so treat a share link like the list it contains: don't share a wheel of information you want to keep private.

Hosting and server logs

Twirlo is served by Cloudflare. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this data to identify you. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

We currently run no analytics scripts. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future to understand which tools people find useful, we'll update this policy first.

Advertising

Twirlo is free and supported by advertising. We display (or plan to display) ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, including personalised ads where you have consented.

If you're in a region with consent requirements (such as the EEA or UK), you'll be shown a consent choice before any advertising cookies are set. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Children

Twirlo is a general-audience site. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone, since there are no accounts or forms.

Changes to this policy

If how Twirlo handles data changes — for example when advertising or analytics go live — we'll update this page and the date at the top.
